Arua-All is set for the 3rd mega West Nile music festival in Arua town to usher in the New Year 2018.
The three days Bell Larger and Africel sponsored activation event kicks off today at the prestigious Vino Lounge and Galaxy in Arua town with series of promotions and give away of freebies to the public.
Godwin Eyotre, the General Manager Tulc events, that is organizing says it will be the 3rd largest event in the region ever, which will culminate in to a street bash on the New Years eve.
According to Godwin, the major and re-known artistes and performing groups in the region will stir the event together with Kampala based female musician Irene Ntale as guest artiste.
“As a community we want to sing, celebrate and dance to West Nile Music and its going to be a full blast event with lasting memories! We also call upon the public to join us in ushering in the New Year 2018,” Godwin said.
During the launch of the West Nile music festival on Thursday, Mukula Milton the cycle planning and activation manager Uganda Breweries Limited said it is exciting to be part of such a mega festival.
“This is an opportunity for us to showcase our brand and we pledge to offer the best services during this event,” Milton said.

Meanwhile the regional sales representative for West Nile, Paul Odong, says lucky customers will also win prices from Uganda Breweries during the pre-festival days.
“As a mother to many West Nilers, we are proud to be associated with the event and we promise to offer the best services from UBL to the fans,” Odong said.
West Nile region offers a big share of the market to the staunch brands of Uganda Breweries limited, a reason the company considers the region a home.
Afeku Hakim, the Assistant regional supervisor Africel Arua said they will offer free sim cards, give out free mobile phones, T-shirts, Gigabytes of internet data and others during the event to appreciate the over 90 percent customer base the company enjoys in West Nile.
Some of the outstanding West Nile artistes like FreeBoy, Gbara Spoken, MC Controller, LP Shaddy, JM Kennedy, JJ Suru Music among others who attended the launch have promised to ensure that they give their best during the event.
However police has cautioned revelers against acts of hooliganism and recklessness adding that heavy deployment of various security personnel will be in place to deal with unruly people.
