West Nile-The Officials from the West Nile Province have said they are ready for the FUFA Drum games.
Speaking to the media this afternoon, the Team Manager, Mr Mike Letti said the team is ready for the game since most of the players have been undergoing training. He said there was need for the team work among the players to win the games. Their first game is against Karamoja to be played in Moroto.
“We need togetherness in football because we have the players from the various parts of the region both those playing in the big league, Azam premier League and for Uganda Cranes. So we have the confidence that the team is well prepared to face. And a strength of an opponent should not be undermined,” he said.
Asked on who would be responsible for the injuries during the games after the parent clubs have released them for the FUFA Drum games, Letti said: FUFA will take care of the costs for any injuries. But we pray that these players do not get serious injuries because they are also needed for their parent clubs.”

The Team Coach, Umar Abdallah, said: “We summoned the players who have been undergoing physical, mental finesses. And they are in good shape for the game.”
The District Sports Officer, Mr David Dramadri, said this game offers opportunity for the West Nile players to exploit their talents right from grass root levels. “Our players need to exploit the talents so that they can be incorporated into the national team so that even the younger children can emulate them. We support this because it brings unity across the country,” he said.
