Also, the Human Rights Network for Journalists-Uganda (HRNJ-U) has been in strong partnership with WENPA to offer trainings and guides especially on justice, security and safety for journalists across the region.
We have been participating in World Press Freedom Day and other International Public Holiday activities like World Aids Day, Labour Day where dialogue with communities were organized to sensitize on the role of the media in society.
Mentoring of upcoming journalists and fighting for labour rights of members in various places of work where their rights were infringed upon by their employers. This was done through dialogue with media managers.
