“There will anti-corruption sign-posts will be erected at all border roads of Obongi with its neighboring districts, carrying messages You are entering a corruption free area, please leave your corruption behind.”
Hundreds of residents of Palorinya who turned for the sensitization scrambled for documents the MP brought from the ministry of finance and office of the Prime Minister about funds releases to the upcoming Obongi district. They were anxious to read what was stated in the document in order to avoid any confusion.
The people of Obongi have also resolved to give support to promoting Tourism, ensure reduced crime rate by engaging the youth in productive ventures and ensure moral uprightness in execution of their duties as the district takes effect on July 1st 2019.
