Arua- Onduparaka football club has released nine players to try their talents elsewhere.
Some of those released include the unpopular names like Karim Ndugwa whose impact was little felt as the fans always booed at him during some of the games he played. Meanwhile, a gifted striker like Agau Rashid, who was earlier sent on loan to Doves All Stars, has also been released.
Agau made significant contribution for Onduparaka club with crucial goals that he scored in some of the games.
Although some of the players who were still finding feet at the club, have also been released. Those released include Yafes Mubiru, Karim Ndugwa, Agau Rashid, Aggrey Kirya, Kakooza Rajab, Muhammad Rashid, Ivan Mbowa, John Wesley and Ndawula Moses.
However, the Club also added new players with hope of improving on their end of season log on the table from fourth position to winning the Uganda’s Premier League. The new players include, Denis Okot, a former KCCA Fc Captain who signed a two-year contract with Onduparaka, Kagaba, Abel Eturude.
The 2018/19 season will kick off in a month’s time.
