Arua- Onduparaka fans and coaches regretted the missed chances they had in order to beat Vipers FC at Green Light Stadium this afternoon.
Onduparaka missed three chances through Vianney Sekajugo and Bida Ezra who failed to convert the clear-cut chances into the back of the net. Vipers had one chances of the game. At the stroke of the first half, Bida remained one-on-one with the goal keeper and he kicked the ball wide besides the goal post.
The game ended goalless. Onduparaka’s long time absentee left back Saddam Norman returned to normal 90 minute game, substituting Okocha Rashid who was suspended after accumulating two yellow cards. He was then voted Pilsner Man of the Match.

During the post-match press conference, Viper’s player, Tito, said: “It wasn’t an easy game and it is not a bad result because we know Onduparaka is a good club. We can catch up with the table leaders. And the results from KCCA and URA game is favoring us,”
Onduparaka head coach Swadick Serwaja, said the boys played a good game but failed to win it.
“We had many chances and were to win this game. The boys got all the chances to take the three points. We planned for the three missing players but we had replacements.”
The next game for Onduparaka will be against Maroons FC at Green Light stadium on Saturday. Maroons will come to the Green Light energized after beating struggling Paidha Black Angels 3-0 today at Luzira grounds.
